Wow return !!
Ok i say Wow return but im not sating this is a return to World of Warcraft.. or even a sneak peek or news on WOW infact it has nothing to do with WOW !!! its more .. like a woooooo im back.... following a link today i hit a blog spot that reminded me i used to have this account....

fitness program

UKCM gun project
So what will the gun of choice be for the UKCM in the future, well from an airsoft point of view we need to keep it relaxed, and as mercenary force we are allowed some rights to bear any arms, but over all we need a base weapon... i sugest keep it to M16/M4 type magazine weapons, you can get some futuristic ones out there and id sugest the FN200 is a great choice.
The fn2000 jls airsoft gun itself is great, one problem they have is a radical drop in power after 7-8 games, this is due to the rubber O ring on the piston, the gear boxes are a pain to take apart and a good friend to help hold bits is a good idea, also they can make tea and serve biscuits, the bigest problem is the anti reverse catch... but a few atempts and exspletives and your get it done... for replacment O ring these can simply be picked up in pack for around £1 from any plumbing suplier...or DIY store..
The other problem is the Mid and lopcap mag fit.. again realy simple to fix, it isnt so much the gun causing the problem but the magazine, so hold them tools and dont alter your gun.... your only break something lol, to fix the mag issue hold your mid cap mag alongside your highcap, and compare the tops where you insert the BB's .. oooeeerrrr... you see the mid cap top part is alot longer than the highcap this si what causes the problem and stops the mag going in the magwell in a way to make contact with the hop unit feed... basicly mark the exsess and saw it of with a junior hacksaw and remove that extra bit of plastic from your midcap... now the mag fits the FN2k and will still fit your M16/M4 guns ... simple cheap problem solved...
Another modification you can make is to add a small riss to the side near the front, this will be good for adding say a tac light, if you remove the front had grip infront of the trigger and add another ris rail, you can now mount a grenade launcher thats easy to access, possable the madbull mini type ones would be suitable, if you wish to not use the grenade launcher then you can simply pop you front hand grip back on.... :D or how about fit a front hand grip ? this gun has alot of scope with very few modifications.
Sights on thei gun are a problem, i feel the acogs just dont fit right with it, and it doesnot fit to eye as well as you may hope, the elcan on the other hand looks good and is as tough as nuts and has 4x magnification. im currently using a Aimpoint on mine with a quick detach 3X magnification unit, while a friend of mine uses a simple reflex sight.
One other issue with the gun is battery, it uses a fairly small one compared to my full stock guns, so i currently have on order a battery pouch and a conversion wire, simple i can feed the wire through to the big battery in the pouch, through a small slit in the but stock rubber, effectily securing the rubber stock from falling of and disapearing mid game.
So the JLS FN2000 possably a marmite gun that on the outside looks futuristic but not easy to add gear to or modify cheap, is in fact a great gun bar a small nigles that once are over come cheaply as well becomes an awsome piece of futuristic looking kit.....

United Kingdom Colonial Mercenaries (UKCM) project
ok a silly little project in my ead being applied to Airsoft.
in the future you often see the USCM for example in films like aliens, so what would the british have ?
well the simple answer would be UKCM but colonial marine suggests we have an empire when lets be honest the chance of the uk having a space project fast enough would be pure fuff and fantacy, if we did reach the stars from the uk it would be under the wing of the US or EU !!!
so the uk set up a wing of the military called the UKCM this allowed the UK keeps its fingers in the pot, make some profit and support its allies and gather intel on it allies.
yes these needs alot of fleshing out and proper thinking, and welcome to the way i process these things.
